HSU Guidelines on Interviews for Job Applicants

Humboldt State University is working to maintain as much flexibility as possible for current and upcoming job searches, while also mitigating for possible impacts related to COVID-19. It is important that the University provide a consistent and fair experience for all applicants. 

At this time, the hiring authority and search committee chair should consult with the relevant Vice President to determine whether it is possible to move forward with a search. An important consideration should be whether to convert all portions of the interview process to teleconference (Zoom). The Vice President is authorized to make a determination on moving forward, and for notifying Faculty Personnel Services or Human Resources.
